Hotel Vega Sofia

The location was peaceful, at a short distance from a national museum. The breakfast was savoury with FRUIT AND FRESH JUICES, a terrific spread, good espresso, the staffing teams were competent.

New-fashioned neat rooms with nice furniture and clean linen and solid pillows, excellent staff.

Loved the big windows with a view of the mountains. The room was clean and had a cozy ambiance. The hotel is close to supermarkets which is super convenient.

The bathroom was very nice and the breakfast was very good.

The gym did not open until 9am which was a rather odd time as the breakfast finished at 10am so did not have time to go before breakfast. The wardrobe door fell off in my hands!

Location near to the metro which goes to the center of town and the airport and restaurants. Savoury and plentiful breakfast with a great selection of options to choose from.

Excellent hotel with great amenities like free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness centre. The staff helped me with my bags on my first visit. Highly recommend staying here for comfort!

The biggest advantage of the hotel is the rooms which are very big with nice design and very comfortable bed. I must regret that the bed on this hotel was one of the best I ever slept!

The worst thing on this hotel was the breakfast! I never thought that in a four star hotel will not exist breakfast with buffet! You had to choose between 3 dishes which were very poor and so bad cocked!

The room was clean, spacious, and well-furnished. The breakfast offered a wide selection, including freshly baked pastries and a variety of juices. The staff was friendly and efficient, always eager to assist with any requests.

The charming and pleasant presence of the staff. Good service and helpful staff. The breakfast was good too.

For drivers it might be better guidance to the entrance.

Rooms were amazing and price really cheap

Everything was perfect apart from the fct that there were no water à 7am when we had to take a shower, but it was just a random incident that was solved before we leave.

I appreciated the spacious and airy rooms with comfortable beds. The bathrooms were beautifully appointed with large, soft towels and quality toiletries. The staff was accommodating and kindly assisted me with any requests I had .

Air conditioning needs improvement for warmer days.

I previously stayed in sofia and had high expectations for this hotel, and it exceeded them. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with really nice amenities like a minibar and a nespresso machine. Breakfast offered a huge variety, including freshly baked pastries and organic juices that were a delight.

Nothing, we had a terrible stay

Lots,when we arrived there was no 3rd bed in the room as per my booking, the bedside and reading lamp did not work, no internet access inside the room,although it said internet throughout the hotel, no hot water in the entire HOTEL,not enough toilet paper,at breakfast no eggs or sausages and we had to wait a long time for them to prepare from scratch,at 9pm we could not have a drink or any snack at the bar, after the first night we checked out and the hotel promised not to charge for our second night so please make sure it does not happen, this hotel is not by far good enough to be a 4 star!!!!!!! Will never stay there again

Air-con troubles, awesome staff

Had a rough night with the air-con down during a heatwave, but the friendly staff really made a difference. Our receptionist was running around helping everyone, a relief. The bar area was nice for chill vibes. Just wish the hotel would consider guest comfort when hosting big events like weddings!
